The most important thing you should know about me is that I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I consider this a the most significant relationship in my life, it's not a religion.
I'm a child of the 1980's who was born in Omaha Nebraska. My family moved to Plano Texas shortly after I was born, so I should consider myself a Texan. I have two wonderful parents, three awesome (and protective) brothers, and two female additions to the family (my brothers' significant others).
I was homeschooled for eight years and took two mission trips to Northern Ireland before graduating and attending Howard Payne University. During my college summers, I was able to help lead a mission trip to Chihuahua Mexico and spend an entire summer working in urban missions in Nashville Tennessee. Then, after college graduation, I spent an incredible year in Belfast working full time as a volunteer for Youth for Christ Northern Ireland.
Since that time, I have been living in Dallas Texas and working for Southwest Airlines. I am involved with my church but consider my pursuit of Christ to be the most important way to spend my time. During the Thanksgiving holiday of 2009, I spent a week in India with TruthSeekers International working with low-caste Indians.
Combine all these experiences with laughter, one tattoo, an adventure-seeker, a large movie collection, an outdoor enthusiast stuck in Texas, an eclectic taste in music, and seven piercings--and you have me!
