Acts 10:34-36, The Message

Peter fairly exploded with his good news: "It's God's own truth, nothing could be plainer: God plays no favorites! It makes no difference who you are or where you're from—if you want God and are ready to do as he says, the door is open. The Message he sent to the children of Israel—that through Jesus Christ everything is being put together again—well, he's doing it everywhere, among everyone."

Tonight, I'm also fairly bursting with this good news! How exciting that these words are still true today! I love reading about the beginning of the Church and how this new concept of a God that no longer has a specific race as His "chosen" was so foreign to men and women. It's crazy to realize that this was the first time these people had ever heard that. I'm blessed to serve a God who doesn't seen any difference between me and anyone else because of my race, my family, etc... He has an open door waiting for every person. His Message is being carried out through imperfect people all over the world.

Praise God that He is willing to use imperfect people (like me) to carry the Gospel (Good News) to others! Thanks for the reminder that this is what we should be about as Christ followers, Katie! Love - DAD
