Acts 12:9-10, NIV

Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

I love this story. It's true. God does awesome things. God also does some stuff that doesn't at first seem awesome or significant. Hardships within a family, a financial loss, death, illness, etc. But the crazy thing about believing in God is that I still know that in spite of all the bad, I know down to my core that He is still good. I'm taking comfort in that today... and tomorrow too.
